Ralph A. Schwartz is the Senior Partner in the law firm HARRIS SCHWARTZ. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Schwartz received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Joseph’s University in 1989. Mr. Schwartz attended Widener University School of Law received a Juris Doctorate degree in 1993. The legal career of Mr. Schwartz began in 1993 at the prestigious law firm of Anapol Schwartz in Philadelphia as an associate attorney practicing in the areas of Plaintiff’s personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and products liability.
With a lifelong dream to explore all the beauty and excitement of the West Coast, Mr. Schwartz and his family moved to Las Vegas in 1994. His legal career began working in the field of insurance defense. While representing the interests of the country’s largest insurance companies, Mr. Schwartz gained a keen perspective in the manner in which insurance company’s operate and evaluate the claims of accident victims. In 1996, Mr. Schwartz used this knowledge to launch his career as a proud member of the Plaintiff’s bar representing victims whose lives were shattered by the negligence of others.
After seven years of practicing law as a sole practitioner, Mr. Schwartz joined his current partner, Brian Harris in the formation of Harris Injury Lawyers. While at Harris Injury Lawyers, both Ralph Schwartz and Brian Harris were successful in resolving hundreds of cases including multiple settlements and awards in excess of one million dollars. With the desire to expand their law practice in a different direction, Mr. Schwartz, along with Brian Harris, left Harris Injury Lawyers and formed their current partnership HARRIS SCHWARTZ. Mr. Schwartz believes HARRIS SCHWARTZ is the ideal law practice combining years of litigation and claims handling knowledge with aggressive, thorough and strong representation.
Mr. Schwartz is an active member of the Nevada Bar, Pennsylvania Bar, Nevada State Bar, ABA, AAJ, NTLA, CCBA. When he is not in court or the office, Mr. Schwartz enjoys snowboarding, sports and traveling with his wife, Michele, and their two children, Ethan and Erica.
